T – Tight
The sling should be snug against your body so baby is well supported and doesn’t slump.
I – In View at All Times
Baby’s face should always be visible—never covered by fabric or turned inward too deeply.
C – Close Enough to Kiss
You should be able to easily kiss the top of your baby’s head just by tipping your head forward.
K – Keep Chin Off Chest
Ensure there’s at least two fingers' width between baby’s chin and chest to keep their airway clear.
S – Supported Back
Your baby’s back should be supported in their natural position, snug against your body without slumping.
